Good morning race fans! Here we are, already at the second to last round of AMA Pro Motocross, as well as WMX, though the championships are still too close to call in all three classes to crown a champion today. In fact, with rain in the forecast, we might be in for one last points shake up heading into the last round next weekend.<\/p>\n

In the 250 class Levi Kitchen<\/a> leads Cole Davies<\/a> by only one point after another first turn mishap in the second moto at Unadilla cost him nine points. Both riders have won motos here in the past (although for Davies he was credited with the win after finishing third in a moto in 2025 when the top two finishers were docked for jumping on a red cross) so there really is no \u201cfavorite\u201d heading into today.<\/p>\n

In the 450 class it was another tough second moto for a red plate holder at Unadilla when Hunter Lawrence<\/a> went down and was unable to finish due to his bike being too mangled. He lost the points lead and now sits 10 points back of his brother Jett. If Hunter can win every moto to finish the series, he will still get the championship. It’s a big ask, but he has beaten Jett plenty this summer. But how will the rain play into this? If it’s a complete mudfest maybe we will see someone without the last name of Lawrence take a moto win for the first time this season.<\/p>\n

WMX ran their first moto already on Friday, and if you did not watch it on SuperMotocross Youtube channel you should go back and watch it as it was an exciting one! Charli Cannon<\/a> was the fastest qualifier but then was buried off the start. However, Lala Turner was even further behind. The two quickly worked their way up, while Mikayla Nielsen<\/a> made her way passed Tayla McCutcheon for the lead. Unfortunately for Nielsen as soon as she found her way to the front, Cannon and Turner were already right behind her! Cannon made her way around Nielsen but only led for a lap before Turner made her way to the top of the leader board. Turner then set the fastest lap of the race, over two seconds faster than anyone else. She also extended her points lead to 18 points. The question is, who is the best WMX mud rider at the moment? We might find out today!<\/p>\n
