\n\tBased on the book by Marissa Stapley, which was the Reese\u2019s Book Club pick in December 2021, Lucky marks the latest collaboration between Hello Sunshine and Apple TV+ following The Morning Show, Truth Be Told, Surface and The Last Thing He Told Me.<\/p>\n

\n\tYes, filming began in February 2025 in Las Vegas before heading to the show\u2019s main location, Los Angeles. The show earned a $10.683M California tax credit<\/a> in December when it was still an untitled Apple Studios Series.<\/p>\n

\n\tWho is in the cast of the Lucky TV show?<\/p>\n

\n\tAnya Taylor-Joy will star<\/a> as the titular main character in addition to executive producing. She was the first star to be attached to the project.<\/p>\n

\n\tHailing from Apple Studios,\u00a0Lucky\u00a0is co-showrun and executive produced by Jonathan Tropper<\/a> (Your Friends and Neighbors) through his Tropper Ink banner and under his overall deal with Apple TV+, alongside fellow co-showrunner Cassie Pappas. Tropper created the series, which is executive produced by Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter for Hello Sunshine, a part of Candle Media. Taylor-Joy executive produces through her production banner Ladykiller.
