Most notably he is the first Navajo to sign an NFL contract.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Pete has an Arizona background, but he ultimately went on to play college football at New Mexico State before transferring to Kentucky, and received an incredible ovation both during and after Saturday night\u2019s game.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">This is one of those times where you remember that life is bigger than sport.
