With the No Limit boss saying, right now, Peters could beat WBO middleweight champ Denzel Bentley.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, 100 per cent,\u201d he told Fox Sports Australia this week when Rose\u2019s comment was put. \u201cI know what\u2019s coming \u2026 and I know what I can do.\u201d<\/p>\n
Despite being only eight fights into his professional career, Peters is now readying to go explode on Wednesday\u2019s Gold Coast blockbuster \u2013 which is topped by Tszyu\u2019s IBF eliminator against Ben Mahoney.<\/p>\n
Only last week in preparation for everything coming, Peters and Tszyu sparred at Sydney\u2019s Doyle Boxing Club.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhich was so good,\u201d owner Brian Doyle recounts, \u201cI could\u2019ve sold tickets\u201d.<\/p>\n
To which Rose, also present that day, agrees.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd maybe,\u201d he grins, \u201cwe should\u2019ve sold \u2018em.\u201d <\/p>\n

Explaining the session afterwards to Fox Sports Australia, Tszyu revealed he first threw down with Peters back in 2022, when returning to the sport after a long break to earn an architecture degree.<\/p>\n
And now again, \u2018The Butcher\u2019 has used the prospect as part of preparations for Mahoney.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd through eight good rounds,\u201d Nikita explained, \u201cCallum proved a hard guy to work with. Very tricky.<\/p>\n
\u201cBecause of his high workrate, he\u2019s really difficult to deal.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s just constantly in your face.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd because of his style too, the way he comes at you, you\u2019re not going to beat him on points \u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cCal has some real good body shots,\u201d Tszyu continued, grinning. \u201cAnd he did get me a couple of times.\u201d<\/p>\n
Asked what advice he would give the Adelaide rookie, and Tszyu continued: \u201cRight now, he needs to work on his defence.<\/p>\n
\u201cBecause if you\u2019ve got the right style, you might catch him in an exchange.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut Cal Peters is also very tough.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe can take shots, then keeps coming back at you.<\/p>\n

A 2024 Paris Olympian, Peters is now continuing his push towards a title in Wednesday\u2019s all-Australian showdown against Blake Wells (13-2), who is ranked No.15 with the IBF.<\/p>\n
Apart from fighting as the co-main to Tszyu, the youngster will also be looking to earn himself the IBF Pan Pacific middleweight title.<\/p>\n
Already a Commonwealth Games silver medallist, Peters hasn\u2019t ruled out a second Olympic tilt, especially given he is currently ranked second in the world at middleweight.<\/p>\n
And given he is still alternating between the amateurs and pros, Tszyu says Peters still needs to work on generating more power while also \u201ctightening some little things up here and there\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut we all need to do that, right?\u201d he shrugged. \u201cThere is no perfect fighter. We\u2019re all still improving.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd Callum is so young, still has so much to learn and improve on.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut the great thing about him is, he trains like a bloody machine. So the improvements will come in time.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe can definitely go the whole way.\u201d<\/p>\n
Since turning pro 18 months ago, Peters has knocked out seven of eight opponents, with only gutsy American Joeshon James having gone to the judges\u2019 scorecards against him.<\/p>\n
Ask Rose, and he says the youngster will not only be fighting for a world title in 12 months, but \u201ccould already beat Denzel Bentley now\u201d.<\/p>\n
To which Peters says what?<\/p>\n
\u201cOh, 100 per cent,\u201d he grinned after Monday\u2019s press conference. \u201cI heard what Matty said and, yeah, I\u2019ve seen the way [Bentley] moves and, while he might hit hard, he really isn\u2019t anything special.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe way he moves, I\u2019ve seen it before, bro. And I know what I can do.\u201d<\/p>\n
So a world title fight within the year?<\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s the mission,\u201d Peters continued, smiling now. \u201cAnd because boxing is my life, it\u2019s three or four fights and I\u2019m there. Honestly, I don\u2019t ever take holidays. The only time I rest is when I\u2019m fighting.\u201d<\/p>\n

Better, the No Limit prodigy also sees himself rising with Tszyu.<\/p>\n
\u201cBecause we\u2019re both entertaining,\u201d Peters stressed. \u201cAnd we\u2019re only going to become greater together.\u201d<\/p>\n
And as for how much Tszyu has changed since that first spar?<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s definitely hitting harder,\u201d Peters revealed. \u201cFirst time we sparred was ages ago, when he was coming back into boxing.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd he\u2019s carrying more power now. He\u2019s also using his left hand more, the way he should be. I was just grateful to be in there getting some work.\u201d<\/p>\n
Of course, apart from being two of the nation\u2019s most exciting fighters, the pair are also among the most entertaining athletes anywhere in Australia.<\/p>\n
Yet while Tszyu has been marketed as something of a \u2018Dark Prince\u2019, Peters in the jovial, young star who shakes almost as many hands in a fight week as he throws punches in bunches per round.<\/p>\n
\u201cNikita is a fun dude to chat with. Really entertaining,\u201d he said this week. \u201cI guess we both are.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd I reckon we would be good mates.<\/p>\n
\u201c[Laughs] Well, except for the drinking snake blood. There is no way I could do that.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut right now, we\u2019re both winning. Selling tickets.<\/p>\n
