\n\tJosh Harris admits that even though he\u2019s the owner of the 76ers, he\u2019s not LeBron James\u2019 boss. <\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cLeBron doesn\u2019t have a boss,\u201d Harris said in an interview for the latest episode of\u00a0Sportico Sports Business Presented by Endava, airing Tuesday night on YES Network. \u201cI\u2019m totally comfortable with it. I think that LeBron\u2014or any athlete who\u2019s that exceptional (and if he\u2019s not the GOAT, he\u2019s in the conversation)\u2014the level of focus and intensity and passion that he brings to the game, I\u2019m going to learn from it, our team\u2019s going to learn from it. This is a partnership\u2014LeBron is our partner \u2026 and I\u2019m glad he\u2019s with us.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tHarris, the founder of alternative asset management firm 26North, owns the 76ers, NFL\u2019s Washington Commanders<\/a>, the NBA\u2019s Philadelphia 76ers<\/a>, the NHL\u2019s New Jersey Devils<\/a>, the Premier League\u2019s Crystal Palace and Philadelphia\u2019s expansion WNBA team. And he knows the importance of building culture in a franchise.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cYou basically tell everyone you are a steward for the city. Three main goals: create memories, engage with the community and win,\u201d Harris said.
