Taylor and her partner Dan announced the birth of Georgia.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\nTaylor will join Kevin Hansen in the FIA Extreme H World Cup later this year in Qiddiyah City, Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n
The pair won the inaugural Extreme H World Cup last year at the same venue with Jameel Motorsport.<\/p>\n
This year, they will return to the Veloce Racing stable for which they raced 2022 and 2024.<\/p>\n
\u201cKevin and I have developed a fantastic partnership, and winning the Extreme H World Cup together last year has only given us even more confidence in what we can achieve,\u201d said Taylor.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt feels very special to be returning to Veloce and bringing that experience with us.\u201d<\/p>\n
Taylor won\u2019t be the only one balancing family commitments, with Hanson having welcomed his daughter Mila only six months ago.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis time we\u2019re also embarking on a very different journey together having just welcomed my first child and Kevin having recently become a dad too,\u201d Taylor added.<\/p>\n
\u201cComing back as a new mum will make this next chapter incredibly special, and undoubtedly challenging, but when I get behind the wheel, my ambitions won\u2019t have changed.<\/p>\n
\u201cI want to get back to my best, compete with no limitations and help the team fight at the front from the very beginning.<\/p>\n
\u201cI maintained my training throughout my pregnancy with the goal of racing in Qiddiya City at the end of October and am extremely grateful to have had so much support throughout this journey.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m incredibly motivated for the challenge ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n
Hansen said he was looking forward to making his series return alongside Taylor.<\/p>\n
During their time together as co-drivers, Hansen and Taylor won on five occasions in Extreme E and nine podiums.<\/p>\n
The all-electric Extreme E has since been replaced with hydrogen-powered Extreme H, ushering a new era of sustainable off-road motorsport.<\/p>\n
\u201cMolly and I have built a strong partnership over the years and coming back to Extreme H together as reigning winners feels great,\u201d said the Swede.<\/p>\n
\u201cI loved the format of the World Cup. It pushes us to our limits of performance and there are no second chances in any of the stages.<\/p>\n
\u201cComing back to Veloce, a team which feels like home after many successful years together in Extreme E, makes the title defense even more exciting.<\/p>\n
\u201cBeing on the start line alongside Molly will already feel like a win with what she has put in to be there.<\/p>\n
\u201cStarting this new chapter together, supporting each other both as team-mates and as parents, with Veloce on our side, makes this year\u2019s FIA Extreme H World Cup particularly special.<\/p>\n
