{"id":868812,"date":"2026-08-26T07:58:12","date_gmt":"2026-08-26T07:58:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/868812\/"},"modified":"2026-08-26T07:58:12","modified_gmt":"2026-08-26T07:58:12","slug":"georgia-metaxas-to-present-photography-book-at-ancestral-home-of-ithaca","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/868812\/","title":{"rendered":"Georgia Metaxas to present photography book at ancestral home of Ithaca"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Australian photographer Georgia Metaxas is set to speak on her book \u2018Mnemosyne Grove\u2019 at her ancestral island of Ithaca during the coming edition of Return2Ithaca.<\/p>\n<p>The photographer, who grew up in Melbourne and now lives in London, will speak on her book at the seventh edition of Return2Ithaca, a residency program for photographers that is taking place on the island from 27 August to 11 September.<\/p>\n<p>Metaxas\u2019 presentation of her book will be held on 1 September with her also set to talk with Marta Weiss, Senior Curator V&amp;A Museum \u2013 London.
