{"id":870435,"date":"2026-08-27T16:34:20","date_gmt":"2026-08-27T16:34:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/870435\/"},"modified":"2026-08-27T16:34:20","modified_gmt":"2026-08-27T16:34:20","slug":"leah-remini-joins-real-housewives-of-beverly-hills-season-16","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/870435\/","title":{"rendered":"Leah Remini joins Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 16"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Leah Remini is joining Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.<\/p>\n<p>The King of Queens star <a class=\"body-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DchfZPHCDAP\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">confirmed the news on Instagram<\/a> Thursday, joining icons Kyle Richards and Erika Jayne.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s true!!\u201d she commented alongside a Variety report announcing that she\u2019s joined the reality show.<\/p>\n<p>Bravo additionally confirmed the casting to <a class=\"body-link\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/08\/26\/entertainment\/leah-remini-joins-the-real-housewives-of-beverly-hills-season-16\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Page Six<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, TV personality Justin Sylvester teased that a big name would be joining the RHOBH cast during an interview with <a class=\"body-link\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/video\/justin-sylvester-teases-bombshell-rhobh-casting-announcement-with-vrt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Page Six\u2019s Virtual Reali-Tea<\/a> released Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Sylvester told hosts Danny Murphy and Evan Real that the \u201cname would blow everybody\u2019s heads\u201d, but wouldn\u2019t reveal more details.<\/p>\n<p>The move comes weeks after Remini, 56, signed with talent agency WME for representation to expand her brand across several platforms, including TV, movies and podcasting, <a class=\"body-link\" href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2026\/tv\/news\/leah-remini-agency-wme-1236832132\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Variety<\/a> reported earlier this month.<\/p>\n<p>Stream The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on <a class=\"body-link\" href=\"https:\/\/binge.com.au\/?extcamp=ncaeditoriallink-ptr-nca-lnk-awr-acq-var-bge&amp;channel=nca&amp;campaign=editorial\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">BINGE<\/a>, available on <a class=\"body-link\" href=\"https:\/\/hubbl.com.au\/?utm_source=news.com.au&amp;utm_medium=Hubbl-text-links&amp;utm_campaign=&amp;utm_content=Story-page\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Hubbl<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Remini, however, isn\u2019t a stranger to reality TV and previously starred in her own series, Leah Remini: It\u2019s All Relative from 2014 to 2015.<\/p>\n<p>The TLC show followed Remini and her family\u2019s everyday lives, including her ex-husband, Angelo Pag\u00e1n, and their daughter, Sofia Bella, 22. Remini and Pagan tied the knot in 2003 and split in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The reality show ended after two seasons.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Remini starred in and produced the series <a class=\"body-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.news.com.au\/entertainment\/movies\/leah-remini-reveals-scientologys-secrets-and-tom-cruises\/news-story\/a9811a858c6016a433a6a344a3a2354e\" target=\"_blank\" data-tgev=\"event119\" data-tgev-container=\"bodylink\" data-tgev-order=\"a9811a858c6016a433a6a344a3a2354e\" data-tgev-label=\"entertainment\" data-tgev-metric=\"ev\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In the show, the <a class=\"body-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.news.com.au\/entertainment\/celebrity-life\/leah-remini-sues-church-of-scientology-for-stalking-harassment-and-emotional-distress\/news-story\/2f0844d9099f08496fa3d340fa201c6b\" target=\"_blank\" data-tgev=\"event119\" data-tgev-container=\"bodylink\" data-tgev-order=\"2f0844d9099f08496fa3d340fa201c6b\" data-tgev-label=\"entertainment\" data-tgev-metric=\"ev\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">former Scientologist<\/a> interviewed former members of the controversial church in a three-season docu-series that aired from 2016 to 2019.<\/p>\n<p>However, Remini is best known for her role as Carrie Hefferman in The Kings and Queens, which also starred Kevin James as her on-screen husband, Doug Hefferman. The series ran for nine seasons from 1998 to 2007.<\/p>\n<p>Remini, meanwhile, will be the newbie on RHOBH alongside Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star Tracy Tutor.<\/p>\n<p>Tutor announced she would be joining the Bravo series via an <a class=\"body-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DcPVgN-B7-L\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Instagram announcement<\/a> last week.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell \u2026 the secret\u2019s officially out,\u201d she captioned a glammed-up photo of herself. \u201cI\u2019m joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and I could not be more excited for this next chapter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBeverly Hills is home,\u201d Tutor added. \u201cI\u2019ve raised my girls here, built my career here, and now apparently I\u2019ve decided to let you all even further into my life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She added, \u201cExcited? Very. Nervous? A little. Likely to get into some trouble?
