class=\"sc-ZStEl fijHCo\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Melbourne<\/a> has come to an unsettling end only when a 14-year-old boy found an alleged car thief sleeping in his mother\u2019s bed.<\/p>\n<p>The drama started earlier, when <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nine.com.au\/topic\/police-6iyz\" class=\"sc-ZStEl fijHCo\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">police<\/a> allege Stanley _7475dd3391ee1518\" style=\"--text-color:var(--color-text-secondary)\">A mum and her baby are among the victims of an alleged carjacking spree in Melbourne.\u00a09News<\/p>\n<p>They claim the accused 33-year-old opened the front door and pulled a grandmother out of the driver\u2019s seat.<\/p>\n<p>Seconds later, he ran away empty-handed and quickly moved onto his next alleged victim.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll of a sudden, a guy grabbed me, he opened my door, he\u2019s pulled me out of the car, threatened to assault me, threatened to beat me up,\u201d one alleged victim said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI put my hands up, ready to defend myself and that\u2019s when he ran off.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nine.com.au\/topic\/police-6iyz\" class=\"sc-ZStEl fijHCo\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Police<\/a> allege the crime spree started even earlier, on a nearby street at 11am.<\/p>\n<p>He allegedly stole a Ford by carjacking an 88-year-old man who is partially deaf and blind.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle was dumped less than a kilometre away before Taefu allegedly tried to take more cars.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The accused later broke into a Werribee home, where the teenage boy found Taefu sleeping in his mother\u2019s bed.<\/p>\n<p>Alesya Kuretskaya said her son made the discovery when he arrived home from school, armed himself with a Minecraft hammer and called for help.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe come my room, saw this very, very big man sleeping my bed,\u201d Kuretskaya said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe very big stress and shock, but he did very, very good job, by the way.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Alesya Kuretskaya\u2019s son found him after school, armed himself with a Minecraft hammer and called for help.\" help.\u00a09News<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVery bravo, son.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One neighbour said the situation would have left her \u201cso petrified\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJust walking in and seeing a grown-ass man in my bed,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nine.com.au\/topic\/courts-hn7\" class=\"sc-ZStEl fijHCo\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">court<\/a> heard Taefu was withdrawing from ice, and started taking drugs after he lost his job last month.<\/p>\n<p>His lawyer said he should be granted bail because he has no prior convictions, but the magistrate
