Our security agencies are doing the search and rescue operation. For now, we don\u2019t require such help,\u201d Lok Bahadur Chhetri, spokesperson for the foreign ministry, said on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Nepal wants cash contributions instead, The Kathmandu Post reported, stating that additional aid and support would be sought after immediate rescue efforts.<\/p>\n<p>According to The Kathmandu Post, the decision comes after the government\u2019s experience with the 2015 earthquake, which killed 8962 people and injured almost 22,000 across Nepal, India, China and Bangladesh.
