Lela Loren played adult Angie, a federal prosecutor and James \u201cGhost\u201d St. Patrick\u2019s childhood sweetheart, on the mothership series.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tReps from Starz and Perez could not be reached for comment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tFrom Sascha Penn, Power:\u00a0Origins\u00a0will continue to explore the \u201cPower\u201d Universe \u201cin fresh and compelling ways,\u201d the network touts, while delving into the origin story of fan-favorite characters Ghost, Tommy and Kanan. The three are ambitious young entrepreneurs on the rise, determined to make their mark on the streets of New York City.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tStarz\u00a0calls\u00a0Origins\u00a0\u201ca fun, rambunctious exploration of a new time period in the Power franchise that will highlight the unbridled audacity of young men on the rise, determined to become legends in the game.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tProduction on Season 1, which took place in New York and New Jersey, has been completed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tPower:\u00a0Origins\u00a0is the fourth spinoff in the \u201cPower\u201d universe, preceded by\u00a0Power Book II: Ghost,\u00a0Power Book III: Raising Kanan, and\u00a0Power Book IV: Force.\u00a0A fifth spinoff,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2026\/06\/power-legacy-starz-series-joseph-sikora-michael-rainey-1236941212\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"1236941212\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Power: Legacy,<\/a>\u00a0set in the present timeline that will follow the events of\u00a0Power Book IV: Force, was also recently greenlit at Starz.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tPower:\u00a0Origins\u00a0is created by Courtney A. Kemp and Penn. Penn serves as showrunner and executive producer of the series, from a pilot co-written by Penn and Kemp. The \u201cPower\u201d Universe series is executive produced by Kemp, the creator and showrunner of the original\u00a0Power,\u00a0through her production company, End of Episode; Curtis \u201c50 Cent\u201d Jackson, through G-Unit Film and Television; and Mark Canton, through Canton Entertainment. Also executive producing are Chris Selak; Kevin Fox; and Pete Chatmon, who also serves as a director.
