The former Ballon d\u2019Or winner joined the Saudi Pro League in 2023 after exiting the Bernabeu following a legendary run with Real Madrid. <\/p>\n

And after a spell with Al-Ittihad for three years, and a short spell with Al-Hilal, including 57 goals in total, the 38-year-old is now available for a new adventure.<\/p>\n

Boreham Wood are set to sell Abdul Abdulmalik for a National League record \u00a31.5m to Swedish club Djurgardens, reports the BBC\u2019s Nizaar Kinsella.<\/a><\/p>\n

The 23-year-old winger\u2019s move tops the fee paid in the fifth-tier in 2012 by Leicester City to Fleetwood Town Jamie Vardy at \u00a31m.<\/p>\n

The forward scored 17 goals and provided 10 assists last term, which prompted rejected bids worth \u00a31m and \u00a31.5m for the former Millwall academy player.<\/p>\n
