But rather than compete for Ross’ Brand Risk Promotions, Gorlok ended up being booked by Coliseo Boxing Promotions in Hermosillo, Mexico.

All seemed ‘well’ in the lead-up to the boxing bout. Gorlok weighed in at 342 pounds while her opponent La Shamaka weighted in at 309 pounds. But before the event could start, armed men entered the arena, fired off their guns, and set the ring ablaze. The event was subsequently canceled.

According to local officials, the attack was targeting the promoters and not public. No one has been arrested at this point.

While the incident hasn’t been officially connected to Mexican cartels, it’s hard to imagine an attack like this could go down without cartel approval. Influencer events in the United States and Europe are known for endless brawls and trashy behavior outside the ring. Now Mexico is taking it to the next level with gunfire and arson.

A freakshow fight between “Gorlock The Destroyer” and “La Shamaka” in Mexico was called off after masked men…

[570
64,63,43957,786,785,85
post-874256","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-mma","tag-au","tag-australia","tag-boxing-news-results","tag-fighting","tag-mma","tag-sports
["GET
