I think some of the communication of language could have been much clearer. Adam\u2019s had an opportunity a couple of times during the course of the week to clarify that. <\/p>\n \u201cThursday was disappointing. We hired Suncorp Stadium and pay a lot of money to do so. <\/p>\n \u201cFor big screens to be out for 44 minutes, there was some challenges for the team to put a show back together. Unfortunately, we made some calls that we would love to have back again. I think there\u2019s certainly lessons and learnings in that.\u201d<\/p>\n Donaghy was also asked why Haas was leaving the club <\/a>but refused to comment further on the decision.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s wanted a change for a number of different reasons. I won\u2019t step outside our conversations. I\u2019ve already said my part and that\u2019s it,\u201d Haas said.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve explained why I\u2019m leaving, so I\u2019m not going to go over it again.\u201d<\/p>\n Earlier this year Haas said that his decision to leave Brisbane for South Sydney was driven by family and a desire to be closer to relatives in NSW.<\/p>\n Donaghy also said Thursday\u2019s game against the Bulldogs was Haas\u2019s last game in a Broncos jersey \u201cfor now at least\u201d, leaving the door open to a return after his three-year deal ends at Souths.<\/p>\n \u201cPayne\u2019s not leaving here because he doesn\u2019t enjoy the program, doesn\u2019t like the club or doesn\u2019t feel connected with the group,\u201d Donaghy said.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ll let Payne explain it if he wants to but his legacy is evident. He\u2019s been an amazing contributor to our football club and hopefully, one day, we might see him back in Broncos colours.\u201d<\/p>\n Haas refused to speculate about a possible Broncos return.<\/p>\n \u201cI can\u2019t tell the future, I\u2019m just trying to be present,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Interestingly, when Haas was asked what he\u2019d miss most about the Broncos, he only mentioned his teammates.<\/p>\n \u201cI think just the boys to be honest.
