Speaking at his Monday morning media conference, Clark said it is all about the team over his individual milestones and accolades.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cTo be honest, it’s something I haven’t even thought about. I’m just more excited to play,\u201d Clark said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cI don’t really draw into that too much. I don’t play for individual awards, and to be honest, I feel like I’m undeserving of it sometimes.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt’s not something that flatters me or anything like that.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cI don’t think that’s the proudest thing I can achieve, and I never set out to do that when I got drafted.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cI wanted to win a premiership. To be honest, I haven’t really reflected on it (his second All Australian selection), and people talk about it more than I do, and more than the players do inside the four walls.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
On Thursday night\u2019s blockbuster, Clark said the team would look to improve on the first-half woes displayed in their Round 9 encounter with the Hawks, despite grinding out a gritty comeback win.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cLast time we played Hawthorn, we got a lot wrong as a group,\u201d Clark said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was probably the way we were moving the ball, the way we were defending the ground, which hung our key backs out to dry.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt’s probably more of a group thing on the learnings we can take from that game last time.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cWe know Hawthorn have got some clear strengths, and Jack Gunston’s one of many that they’ve got in their forward line.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cNick Watson, Jack Ginnivan, Dylan Moore and Connor McDonald, there are threats all over that ground.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
