This YouTuber tried \u2018killing\u2019 a Volkswagen Golf with 10 durability tests.<\/p>\n

He did try his best to destroy it, but the Golf survived almost everything.<\/p>\n

After driving off a moving truck and flipping the Golf, he then tried selling it to WeBuyAnyCar.<\/p>\n

The valuation was not what he was expecting.<\/p>\n

He said it would be a 10-stage test but\u2026<\/p>\n

YouTuber Retali8<\/a> said he wanted to put the vehicle through a 10-stage durability test<\/a> but, in reality, it ended up being a nine-stage test.<\/p>\n

And the tenth test was something else entirely: he tried selling it to WeBuyAnyCar<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Over the course of 24 hours, the YouTuber subjected the car to a series of increasingly destructive challenges.<\/p>\n

He started with a remote parking sensors test, which failed, considering the car slammed into a Ford Focus parked right behind it.<\/p>\n

After that, he tried driving the car on two wheels, but the car flipped.<\/p>\n

At that point, the Golf was already in horrible shape, although it continued to run somehow.<\/p>\n

The same can be said about the third test: after driving off a moving truck, the Golf<\/a> sustained heavy exterior damage but still remained drivable.<\/p>\n

The fourth test \u2013 high-speed driving on grass \u2013 was not as challenging as the fifth test.<\/p>\n

The guy who runs the Retali8 YouTube channel tried pulling a much larger Mitsubishi truck in a tug-of-war and he managed<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Things got worse after that<\/p>\n

Already severely damaged, the Volkswagen Golf made a trip to the car wash where, with all windows broken, it sustained further damage, especially on the inside.<\/p>\n

And the interior had already been damaged in the previous challenge, where he actively tried to test the durability of materials by trying to ruin them.<\/p>\n

The eighth challenge involved a steep climb, which, amazingly, the Volkswagen Golf was somehow managed to tackle.<\/p>\n

The ninth and final challenge was a massive jump that had already written off several vehicles.<\/p>\n

They didn\u2019t provide specific measurements, but what we do know is that the engine seized shortly after.<\/p>\n

WeBuyAnyCar was actually willing to \u2018buy\u2019 this Golf, but with a catch<\/p>\n

Amazingly, despite all of the above, and despite the fact they had to tow the car, WeBuyAnyCar was still willing to buy it.<\/p>\n

But obviously there was a massive catch.<\/p>\n

At that point, this was no longer a drivable vehicle, and so they would only buy it as a scrap vehicle for \u00a3100.<\/p>\n
