I’ve just been at Wrexham’s press conference ahead of their trip to Millwall tomorrow night, and there was a fair amount to unpack.<\/p>\n

The Red Dragons expect to sign attacking midfielder Callum O’Hare from Sheffield United having already recruited centre-back Joe Worrall<\/a> from Burnley earlier today.<\/p>\n

Assistant Steve Parkin also spoke about Blades boss Chris Wilder’s comments about Wrexham being “in for half the division”<\/a> and their “blanket bombing” approach to the final stages of the summer transfer window.<\/p>\n

“I did read that (Wilder’s comments). Me and Chris go a long way back and he’s no different to any other manager,” said Parkin.<\/p>\n

“If it looks as though key players are going to leave your football club, the natural thing is to be upset and I’m sure that was his reaction.<\/p>\n

“In the cold light of day we don’t work like that, we earmark players that we would like to sign and that’s the way we go forward.<\/p>\n

“I’m looking forward to meeting him and having a beer to see what he says to that.”<\/p>\n

In other news at Wrexham, defender Dan Scarr is poised to join League Two side Salford City and midfielder Elliot Lee – a three-time promotion winner with the club – is expected to depart today.<\/p>\n

Parkin also described defender Conor Coady<\/a> as an “outstanding individual” following his departure from the club.<\/p>\n
