John Lennon and Yoko Ono remain one of the most famous, creative, and controversial partnerships in music and art history.<\/p>\n
They met in 1966 at the Indica Gallery in London, where Yoko Ono was preparing an avant-garde art exhibition and later married in 1969.<\/p>\n
Their love story was tragically cut short when Lennon was shot and killed by a fan outside their apartment building, the Dakota, in New York City in 1980.<\/p>\n
Sean was five years old at the time of his death.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Sean has remained extremely close with his mother, who is now 90 years old and lives full-time on a 600-acre farm near Franklin, New York.<\/p>\n
