With Katie Taylor v Flora Pili<\/a> getting ever closer, as Taylor looks to close the book on a long and industrious career by becoming the undisputed super lightweight champion, there\u2019s no shortage of juicy bets on offer.<\/p>\n

We have a trio of long shots from the #WhatOddsPaddy specials menu that could make it a weekend to remember!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Katie Taylor to Land the most Punches and To Win the Fight in Rounds 1-5<\/p>\n

Pili will enter the arena with a 12-0 record, but hasn\u2019t yet faced anyone with Taylor\u2019s staying power or elite pedigree, and it\u2019s also troubling for her that she\u2019s only won by KO\/stoppage twice.<\/p>\n

Essentially, Pili is damned if she goes for it and damned if she doesn\u2019t. She might well look to adopt a defensive strategy to see out the early rounds, but that only rubber stamps the apparent inevitability of Taylor landing the most punches.<\/p>\n

She\u2019ll do that anyway, even if Pili tries to surprise her early. It\u2019s just a question of how soon Taylor finds a way through.<\/p>\n

Though Taylor has the potential to give Pili an early bedtime, neither fighter is renowned for carrying devastating knockout power, so a sustained pace and plenty of leather being exchanged looks likely.<\/p>\n

And so, for anyone who thinks this fight will go to at least eight rounds, this more speculative selection holds some interest.<\/p>\n

Taylor tends to plant her feet and let her hands go, regularly putting together a high output and landing plenty of shots in the process. That more or less covers anything in her favour when it comes to betting on punch volume.<\/p>\n

Taylor to Win in Round 4 and Flora Pili to be Knocked down in the 1st Minute of Round 4<\/p>\n

We\u2019re not going to lie here. It\u2019s something of a lottery guessing exactly when Taylor will win if it doesn\u2019t go the distance.<\/p>\n

However, this one is at the less speculative end of Paddy\u2019s 50\/1+ WOP band, and across the six times Taylor\u2019s knocked out or stopped somebody, it\u2019s happened in the fifth round on average.<\/p>\n

Only the most recent instance saw the fight go beyond the seventh, so the average might be a bit inflated in any, giving some logic \u2013 however tenuous it may seem \u2013 to the fourth round being the likeliest in the round-specific Win & 1st Minute Knockdown combo market.<\/p>\n

At any rate, Taylor\u2019s tendency to land a lot is something that could increase the likelihood of a knockout early in any round, depending on how quick Pili adapts to any strategy changes from Taylor\u2019s corner, or her own.<\/p>\n
