NVIDIA and digital infrastructure company Equinix have expanded their partnership to focus on AI inference, the process of running trained models to generate responses and predictions.<\/p>\n

The companies announced Equinix Inference Exchange, a distributed AI inference program designed to help global enterprises move from AI experimentation toward production.<\/p>\n

The platform combines NVIDIA\u2019s Enterprise Reference Architectures with Together AI\u2019s inference technology and Equinix\u2019s global data-center and networking infrastructure. Through Equinix Fabric, customers can also connect with clouds, networks and AI providers.<\/p>\n

The announcement helped Equinix shares rise around 2%, while NVDA stock climbed above $226 as investors assessed the potential for inference to become another major source of AI-related demand.<\/p>\n
