\n Aston Martin Vantage S<\/p>\n

Aston Martin has been slowly chipping away at making the Vantage a sharper rival to the Porsche 911 and Mercedes-AMG GT, first with the Vantage S last year<\/a>, and now with what appears to be a GT3-inspired RS version.<\/p>\n

Filmed by CarSpyMedia<\/a> at the N\u00fcrburgring, the Vantage RS \u2013 as it\u2019s been coined \u2013 sports a distinctive camouflage livery, which does little to cover up its new additional bodywork.<\/p>\n

That includes a new lip spoiler with outer fins, wide side skirts, a larger rear diffuser and a big rear wing, sitting high on the bootlid to push the rear end down at speed.<\/p>\n

It appears too that the Vantage\u2019s quad exhaust outlets will move from the outer edges of the rear bumper to the centre, potentially giving the AMG-sourced twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine a different note.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re yet to see the true extent of the Aston Martin Vantage\u2019s upgrades, but it\u2019s expected to offer significant advantages over the Vantage S.<\/p>\n

Revealed last year, the Vantage S produces 500kW and 800Nm from its V8 engine, sending drive to the rear wheels through an eight-speed torque-converter automatic transmission, capable of propelling it from 0-98km\/h (0-60mph) in 3.3 seconds.<\/p>\n

Under the skin, the Vantage S features Bilstein DTC adaptive dampers, which were retuned compared to the standard car.<\/p>\n
