What they bring to me personally and our business is unbelievable,\u201d Olberding said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Special events this summer provided an additional boost. For Textile Brewing Company, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kcrg.com\/2026\/07\/25\/ragbrai-day-6-shorter-cool-ride-dyersville\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.kcrg.com\/2026\/07\/25\/ragbrai-day-6-shorter-cool-ride-dyersville\/\">RAGBRAI passing through town<\/a> was an all-time high.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cWe did a week\u2019s worth of sales in one day. So that was great. I don\u2019t know if that day will ever get beat,\u201d Olberding said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kcrg.com\/2026\/08\/13\/bigger-than-world-series-mlb-field-dreams-attracts-international-crowd\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.kcrg.com\/2026\/08\/13\/bigger-than-world-series-mlb-field-dreams-attracts-international-crowd\/\">Major League Baseball game<\/a> this summer added even more sales for restaurants, including Chad\u2019s Pizza.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Charlie Brake, owner of Chad\u2019s Pizza, said business surged before and after the game.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cAnd then all of a sudden we just had a rush of people coming in because they wanted to eat before they went out to the game. And then we had a rush after the game because they all wanted to eat before they went home. And it was people pretty much from all over the area here but also around the surrounding states,\u201d Brake said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The three-day <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kcrg.com\/2026\/09\/03\/field-dreams-concerts-attract-thousands-this-labor-day-weekend-bring-8-million-local-impact\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.kcrg.com\/2026\/09\/03\/field-dreams-concerts-attract-thousands-this-labor-day-weekend-bring-8-million-local-impact\/\">Velocity Festival concerts<\/a> over Labor Day weekend have continued the flood of customers. A rain delay on Friday night brought even more people into Textile Brewing Company.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cThey actually made everybody leave the premises and we got a huge rush around 7:30 that night. So that was nice, but both days have been really good,\u201d Olberding said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">For Olberding the iconic quote \u201cIf you build it they will come\u201d has become a reality.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cIt would not be like it is without the Field of Dreams.
