Sowter’s professional career started with Middlesex in 2015 after impressing in club cricket for Surrey-based team Normandy. He joined Durham in 2022.<\/p>\n
He has taken 196 wickets in 195 T20 matches during his career, which has also included spells in the Caribbean Premier League and the International League T20 (ILT20).<\/p>\n
Sowter will join Surrey for the 2027 season.
