Alex Ellinghausen<\/p>\n<p>Albanese dismissed assertions the laws would give disproportionate power to the e-Safety Commissioner and the communications minister, and said Nationals leader Matt Canavan had been \u201cdisingenuous\u201d and deliberately misrepresented the legislation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe whole parliament has a say \u2026 and under these laws, this isn\u2019t about censorship. This isn\u2019t about giving Anika Wells power. This is about giving your listeners power, and people on their devices having the power themselves to either opt in or opt out. It\u2019s that simple.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMatt Canavan actually knows he\u2019s been disingenuous because all of these things will be disallowable.
