Dana White confirms that UFC doesn’t want to re-sign Michael ‘Venom’ Page.

When Michael ‘Venom’ Page got signed by the UFC, he was the talk of the town, as his style in Bellator was elite and flashy, and he used to finish opponents in style. Similarly, now that he is out of the UFC, he is once again the biggest news of the week, as no one expected him to get cut after winning 5 out of 6 fights during his run. And now, Dana White has officially put the stamp on it and ended any confusion, if there was any, that MVP will no longer fight in the UFC.

Dana White Confirms Michael ‘Venom’ Page Will Not Return to the UFC

Last weekend, MVP fought Nursulton Ruziboev and won the fight. But for fans the fight wasn’t entertaining at all. This kind of fight has happened a lot with MVP since he came to the UFC. Even though he won at UFC Paris, his UFC contract ended and he was removed from the UFC roster.

After that, he was also taken out of the rankings. This made fans wonder if the UFC would sign him again or if his time in the UFC was finally over. And now, UFC boss Dana White has made it clear that the UFC does not want to sign MVP again. He has officially confirmed that Page will not be re-signed by the company.

“That was the last fight in his contract. I don’t think we’re signing him. I think it’s been pretty clear that he wasn’t being re-signed and he would be taken out of the rankings because he is no longer on the roster,” White said.

Indeed, there are so many fans who feel he shouldn’t have been cut just because he wasn’t entertaining. As he was winning his fights, he didn’t deserve to be cut from the company. Meanwhile, former UFC stars like Muhammad Mokaev have taken a dig at the UFC over the same thing.

Muhammad Mokaev Takes Shots At UFC Over Michael ‘Venom’ Page’s Exit

Now, talking about MVP’s exit, Muhammad Mokaev also took a small dig at the situation. He said, “Probably was hard to deal with.” This looks like a reference to what Dana White said when he was asked about Mokaev’s own UFC exit.

For those who don’t know, Mokaev got cut from the UFC in 2024 after his fight against Manel Kape. Many fans thought he could become the next big flyweight champion, so his UFC exit came as a big shock.

When Dana White was asked about it, he said Mokaev had some behavior problems and was difficult to deal with behind the scenes. Indeed, it seems UFC has made the mind about what kind of fighters they need in the company.

Dana White confirms that UFC doesn’t want to re-sign Michael ‘Venom’ Page.
