However, some viewers have called out the show\u2019s alleged use of AI. Now, the network has clapped back at the scathing claims.\n<\/p>\n

Last night, Big Brother fans were treated to an absolute treat, with Tracina sharing a sneak peek of the 2026 season<\/a>, all to the tune <\/a>of Bj\u00f6rk\u2018s<\/a> \u201cIt\u2019s Oh So Quiet\u201d (Big Brother\u2018s version). <\/p>\n

While the promo was quite vibrant, some fans accused the network of using AI, with one punter speculating that the goldfish also copped the AI treatment. <\/p>\n

\u201cAI usage is a bummer, won\u2019t be tuning in this year because of it,\u201d another penned. <\/p>\n

Network 10 responds to Big Brother Australia AI claims <\/p>\n

In a statement to PEDESTRIAN.TV, the network responded to fans, revealing they used the magic of CGI to bring Tracina\u2019s elaborate promo to life. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe latest\u00a0Big Brother\u00a0promo features talented host Mel Tracina and a cast of brilliantly choreographed dancers and performers (yes, they are real and yes, Mel can really sing!),\u201d a 10 spokesperson told P.TV. <\/p>\n

\u201cCGI backgrounds help bring the magic of Big Brother\u2019s world to life \u2014 a world where he is always watching, surprises lurk around every corner, and, of course, Big Brother makes the rules.\u201d<\/p>\n

The AI hullabaloo comes shortly after Channel Nine\u2019s The Block was flamed for using AI edits<\/a> (and songs) throughout its 2026 season. However, post-production executive producer, David Barbour, defended the use of AI, telling P.TV that he views \u201csimply another exciting\u00a0creative tool that helps us tell stories in new and entertaining ways\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Block\u00a0has always embraced new ways of telling stories, which has been one of the reasons the show is now 22 seasons in. This season, AI has become another creative tool in our storytelling toolkit,\u201d he shared. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe heart of\u00a0The Block\u00a0remains exactly the same: great contestants, genuine emotion, incredible renovations and plenty of laughs. AI simply gives us more creative options to amplify those moments in entertaining and unexpected ways.\u201d <\/p>\n

Despite Barbour\u2019s statement, the show has continued to receive backlash for its use of AI. <\/p>\n
