At the start of her weight loss journey, 1000-Lb Sisters<\/a> star Tammy Slaton was housebound and hadn’t left her home in six years<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Nowadays, and after over a whopping 500lbs (226kgs) lost, Tammy is celebrating the small wins like enjoying a boat day with her friends.<\/p>\n

Tammy, 38, reposted a collection of photos living it up on the water and it’s safe to say you couldn’t wipe the smile off her face.<\/p>\n

The reality star has \ufeffhad a lot to celebrate as of late.<\/p>\n

In July 2025, Tammy looked back on her progress since 1000-Lb Sisters started back in 2020 by posting a video to TikTok that documented her weight loss in stages.<\/p>\n

She wrote a special message\ufeff to fans: “So much has changed about me over the years I couldn’t be more thankful and blessed to have the support and love not only from my fans\/besties but my girlfriend and of course my family.<\/p>\n

“This is my thank you for helping me keep going!!”<\/p>\n

Fans rallied around Tammy in the comment section.<\/p>\n

Fans have watched Tammy\ufeff since Season 1 of the show where at her heaviest she reached 725 pounds (328 kgs).<\/p>\n

In the \ufefffive years 1000-Lb Sisters has run on air, viewers have watched Tammy undergo bariatric surgery, get married, lose her husband, come out as pansexual<\/a>, recover from skin removal surgery<\/a> and now reveal her engagement to partner Andrea.<\/p>\n

Tammy kept her relationship with girlfriend Andrea a secret for “almost three years”. It was only in the latest season of the show that it was revealed.<\/p>\n

When talking about her relationship, the reality star referred to Andrea as her “fianc\u00e9e”, stopping the host in his tracks.<\/p>\n

“My and my fianc\u00e9e, we kind of just chill at home…” Tammy began.<\/p>\n

That’s when the host jumped in: “Hold on, you said fianc\u00e9e?”<\/p>\n
