Donald Trump randomly brought up the Luka Doncic trade on Wednesday night and NBA fans had some hilarious reactions to his take.<\/p>\n

The President of the United States is no stranger to deals, he\u2019s made it a point to let the people know about his extensive history on that front. <\/p>\n

Donald Trump has now involved himself in NBA discourse, bringing up the time Luka Doncic was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in 2025. <\/p>\n

While Doncic himself seems quite settled in LA now, Trump claimed he doesn\u2019t understand why the move happened. And when he suggested that he could \u2018redo that deal\u2019, fans online had a lot to say.<\/p>\n

When talking about the trade, DJT said it was the \u2018worst deal in the history of sports\u2019. And while there\u2019s no undoing it realistically speaking, Trump has never been someone to be hampered by that.<\/p>\n

In response to his comments, fans online pointed out that not only is new Lakers\u2019 owner Josh Kushner related to Trump, but Mavericks owner Miriam Adelson is also a known ally. <\/p>\n

\u201cJust tell Josh and Miriam to make it happen then, you can do that,\u201d one fan wrote. \u201cWith the kinda run he\u2019s been on he might just use the President\u2019s seat to actually redo the deal himself,\u201d another said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen the trade is so bad even Trump wants a do-over,\u201d a third fan commented. \u201cSo the Lakers are owned by Kushner, and Trump is buddies with Mavs owners, the Adelsons,\u201d another fan pointed out.<\/p>\n

Of course, while these are all fun hypotheticals, both Luka Doncic and the Mavericks have now firmly moved on. It\u2019s too late, but those in Dallas who still haven\u2019t moved on were just given an impossible hope.<\/p>\n
