The price increase affects the iPhone 17, iPhone 17e, iPhone Air, and iPhone 16.<\/p>\n<p>The models mentioned above are now $100 more expensive than their respective launch prices, with the base <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/apple_iphone_17-14050.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">iPhone 17<\/a> now starting at $899 in the US.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"1200\" height=\"799\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/1789035850_387_gsmarena_001.jpg\" alt=\"Apple raises prices of the iPhone 17 series, iPhone Air and iPhone 16\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/apple_iphone_17e-14487.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">iPhone 17e<\/a> now starts at $699, while the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/apple_iphone_17_air-13502.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">iPhone Air<\/a> starts at $1,099. Meanwhile, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/apple_iphone_16-13317.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">iPhone 16<\/a> is priced at $799 for the 128GB base model in the US.<\/p>\n<p>The price increase applies across all regions where these iPhone models are currently available.<\/p>\n<p>While Apple typically lowers the prices of previous-generation iPhones following a new launch, this marks a rare price increase, thanks to the ongoing memory supply crunch. Apple recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/apples_grand_price_hike_is_here_-news-73450.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">raised prices<\/a> across several other product categories, including Macs, iPads, and HomePods.<\/p>\n<p>In India, the iPhone 17 now starts at INR 99,900 ($1,050), while the iPhone Air starts at INR 1,49,900 ($1,575).
