The former frontman of Sticky Fingers, Dylan Frost, appeared in court on Thursday regarding an apprehended violence order.<\/p>\n

As reported by\u00a0The Daily Telegraph<\/a>, Frost and his partner, Elyssa Ford, fronted Waverley Court to fight the cross AVO put on them by police, after neighbours reported a loud argument between the couple.<\/p>\n

The pair\u2019s lawyer, Chris Ford, described it as a \u201csimple argument,\u201d and said the police liaison was concerned because they heard a \u201ctussle on the phone.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNeighbours became concerned it must have been a bit noisy,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are no allegations of violence, intimidation or threats.\u201d<\/p>\n

Judge Michael Barko reportedly said in court, \u201cof all the deaths and disasters in the world, I have to deal with someone arguing over a phone.\u201d<\/p>\n

The AVO applications were adjourned until December; it is expected to be dropped if no further issues with Frost and Ford are reported.<\/p>\n

Frost and Ford did not comment outside of court, though the musician said \u201cLove is the key, love is the answer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Frost officially left Sticky Fingers in 2025 after a number of controversies. In 2016, the singer was accused of making racist taunts at an Indigenous band\u2019s gig in Sydney, which Sticky Fingers called a \u201cmassive misunderstanding\u201d at the time.<\/p>\n

Then in 2018, when discussing some of the controversies on triple j\u2019s Hack programme, Frost said during a response, \u201cAnd in the past\u2026 violence in my past under the influence, I guess, you know, fucking boys will be boys, you know?\u201d<\/p>\n

In 2023, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard dropped off the Bluesfest lineup<\/a> because of Sticky Fingers\u2019 inclusion on the bill, saying in a statement, \u201cWe are deeply disappointed to be in this position but sometimes you need to be willing to make sacrifices to stand up for your values.\u201d<\/p>\n
