Ojeda set a session-best 1:17.1422s as the chequered flag flew on the half-hour session.<\/p>\n

Tickford Racing duo Cameron Waters and Thomas Randle were second and third respectively.<\/p>\n

Waters logged a 1:17.2084s in the #6 Monster Mustang to be 0.0662s off the pace while Randle did a 1:17.2139s in the #55 Castrol Mustang and 0.0717s away from the top time.<\/p>\n

Ojeda confirmed he ran a new tyre at the end of the session.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s always nice when the car can roll out of the truck good,\u201d said Ojeda.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously some tyres at the end helped but I think it was genuinely a pretty good session for us considering where we were at QR.<\/p>\n

\u201cLooking forward to putting D-Russ (David Russell) in the car now and getting his advice of where the car should be with his experience and everything before Practice 3 later today.\u201d<\/p>\n

Amid plenty of parity chatter, Chevrolet Camaro entries occupied six of the top 10 positions.<\/p>\n

Cooper Murray was the second-best Camaro in fifth for Erebus Motorsport behind Dick Johnson Racing\u2019s Brodie Kostecki.<\/p>\n

Zach Bates, Jack Le Brocq, Jobe Stewart, Declan Fraser, and Ryan Wood completed the top 10.<\/p>\n

The session was a relatively clean affair, save for Jobe Stewart (Erebus Motorsport) and Macauley Jones (Brad Jones Racing) simultaneously touring the Turn 1 run-off after lock-ups.<\/p>\n

Practice 1 at The Bend gets underway at 1:45pm ACST.<\/p>\n
