Renowned for its speed during the Ryco Enduro Cup, Erebus Motorsport showed supreme speed in Practice 4.<\/p>\n

Dalton logged a 1:17.4144s in the #99 to head Hughes by 0.1005s in the #9 car.<\/p>\n

Dalton, who moved from Tickford to Erebus between seasons, had one moment during the session when he ran wide at Turn 5 and into the grass.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s quite difficult to drive at the moment,\u201d said Dalton, noting the car\u2019s knife-edge behaviour.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think we can make it a lot better and there is obviously a lot more in us drivers.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf we can tune up a few things, I think we\u2019ll be happy.<\/p>\n

\u201cI need this for quali and a race not practice, but it\u2019s good \u2013 we\u2019re on the right path, I think.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust needed everything to settle down a little bit. Sometimes you get an easy car to drive and you\u2019re slow, so I\u2019m not complaining.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt just needs to calm down, be a little bit nicer, and know what to expect a little bit.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would rather have this than a slow car, for sure. The team has done a great job, just need to fine-tune and get it in the perfect window.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mark Winterbottom led Ford\u2019s efforts in third for Tickford Racing, 0.1469s off the pace. He led Will Davison (with Matt Payne) and Reuben Goodall (with Thomas Randle).<\/p>\n

Ryan Wood\u2019s co-driver Jaxon Evans was the best of the Toyota contingent in 11th and 0.4878s in arrears of Dalton.<\/p>\n

Harri Jones completed the most laps of any driver with 28 logged against his name in the Matt Stone Racing Camaro he shares with Jack Le Brocq.<\/p>\n

Practice 5 at The Bend Motorsport Park gets underway at 12:00pm ACST.<\/p>\n
