Australian television star Tayla Meath has died aged 30 following an \u201cincredibly difficult battle with cancer\u201d.<\/p>\n

Meath was best known to viewers for her appearances on The Dog House Australia, where she worked at an animal shelter helping abandoned dogs find their forever homes.<\/p>\n

The television personality was remembered for the \u201cextraordinary love, kindness and care\u201d she showed animals.\u00a0Facebook\/@tayla.meath<\/p>\n

The program confirmed her death in an emotional tribute, remembering Meath for the love and care she showed animals throughout her time on the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are deeply saddened by the passing of Tayla, after a long and incredibly difficult battle with cancer,\u201d the statement<\/a> began.<\/p>\n

\u201cTayla will be remembered for the extraordinary love, kindness and care she showed our four-legged friends through The Dog House Australia, and for the lasting impact she made on everyone fortunate enough to know her.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur hearts go out to her family, friends and all who loved her during this incredibly difficult time.<\/p>\n

\u201cWorking with animals wasn\u2019t just a job for Tayla. It was her passion and a huge part of who she was,\u201d the tribute continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe loved being able to help give dogs the second chance they deserved and to play a small part in finding them their forever homes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meath was diagnosed with adenoid cystic carcinoma in 2024, when she was just 27.<\/p>\n

Her health deteriorated earlier this year after the cancer<\/a> in her liver grew and caused multiple bile duct blockages.<\/p>\n

Meath\u2019s loved ones said she \u201cnever gave up\u201d throughout her lengthy health battle.\u00a0Facebook\/@tayla.meath<\/p>\n

After doctors exhausted treatment options, Meath returned home to spend her remaining time with her loved ones.<\/p>\n

She died on September 1 surrounded by family.<\/p>\n

\u201cTayla\u2019s journey was long and painful, but she never gave up. She fought every single day,\u201d a message shared on a GoFundMe for her family read<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe lived, she loved, she laughed, and she kept pushing forward even when things were incredibly hard.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meath leaves behind her husband Curtis and their beloved Labrador, Archie. \u00a0Facebook\/@tayla.meath<\/p>\n

The fundraiser has raised more than $36,000, with her loved ones now preparing a celebration of her life.<\/p>\n

\u201cCancer may have taken Tayla from us, but it could never take away the mark she left on the people around her,\u201d the tribute read.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe will live on through every person she touched, every friendship she made, every laugh she shared, and every life she made brighter simply by being in it.\u201c<\/p>\n
