Offset<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Quavo<\/a> are reuniting for a final Migos<\/a>\u2018 album, which will posthumously feature Takeoff<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The late rapper,\u00a0real name Kirsnick Khari Ball, died aged 28 in 2022<\/a> when he was shot dead in an alleged dice game gone wrong in Houston, Texas.\u00a0Now, Quavo has confirmed plans for a final Migos album to honour his bandmate, as well as a subsequent tour reuniting with Offset.<\/p>\n

The album will serve as a follow-up to 2021\u2019s \u2018Culture III\u2019, and will be the first record from the group without Takeoff, though his vocals will appear posthumously on the album.\u00a0\u201cWe coming back. We\u2019re going to do it one more time,\u201d Quavo said in an interview with V-103\u2019s DJ Greg Street earlier this month<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cLong live the Rocket \u2026 There\u2019s more. We going to tour. We going to do it right.\u201d<\/p>\n

Then, earlier this week, he gave more information on the upcoming album in an interview on Hot 97 with Nessa. \u201cAt the same time, we missing the Rocket, so we want to make sure we honour him and make sure we have the right tools to make the music sound original as if he was here,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe owe the fans at least the music. What he was working on and what we still had. The legacy must still go on,\u201d he added. \u201cI don\u2019t think he would want us to archive no music, being that I know somebody out here that\u2019s listening to every word Take saying and moving off his lyrics.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Takeoff posthumously featured on<\/a> Kanye West<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Ty Dolla $ign<\/a>\u2019s album \u2018Vultures 2\u2019, as well as the songs \u2018Patty Cake\u2019 and \u2018Back Where It Begins\u2019 from Quavo<\/a>\u2018s 2023 album\u00a0\u2018Rocket Power\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In 2023, Quavo and Offset performed together for first time since Takeoff\u2019s death at the 2023 BET Awards<\/a>, and later that year Quavo also shared a video for his track \u2018Hold Me\u2019, which saw him attend a memorial service for his late Migos bandmate.<\/a><\/p>\n
