Kyle Sandilands<\/a> backed out of his live broadcast on Tuesday morning at the 11th hour with newsreader Brooklyn Ross taking over the Kyle Sandilands Live show. <\/p>\n

The shock jock, 55, showed up to his Sydney office on Tuesday morning with every intention of hosting, but Ross told listeners Sandilands left rushing when he didn\u2019t feel well. <\/p>\n

\u201cKyle actually was in the building this morning but has had to go home at the last minute,\u201d Ross told fans as the show started.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Executive Producer Jaimee \u2018Mayo\u2019 Blazquez\u00a0chimed in, saying Sandilands didn\u2019t seem like his usual self before he went home. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe spoke for a little bit. I made him a coffee. He was more quiet. He wasn\u2019t his jumpin\u2019 around self,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n

\u201cApparently when he walked out, he looked really pale, like he was going to pass out. So he\u2019s getting rest today.\u201d <\/p>\n

The shock-jock\u2019s manager, Bruno Bouchet, added that Sandilands was feeling off since hosting his six-hour subscriber meet-and-greet<\/a> over the weekend.<\/p>\n

\u201cLook, spoiler alert. Love Kyle, but I wouldn\u2019t say that he\u2019s the picture of amazing health, right?\u201d Bruno said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s alright. He was just in a lot of pain \u2013 and when our boy\u2019s not a hundred per cent, he finds it hard to do the show, understandably.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sandilands went into work this morning but eft right before the show went live.\u00a0Kyle Sandilands Live<\/p>\n

His absence comes one week after Sandilands revealed the brain aneurysm he was diagnosed with last year had grown by a millimetre. <\/p>\n

Sandilands recorded himself as he left his doctor\u2019s office and played the clip during his September 8 broadcast. <\/p>\n

\u201cSo, today\u2019s the day I\u2019ve been dreading,\u201d Sandilands said of the appointment.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The former radio host explained that doctors told him initially the best plan of action was to leave it because it was more dangerous to operate, with the risk of a stroke, when he was first diagnosed in early 2025<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, it\u2019s grown a little bit, which isn\u2019t great news,\u201d he said as he walked out of the doctor\u2019s office.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In a follow-up interview filmed at his desk in the studio he gave more details about the aneurysm.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I come out of the doctor\u2019s office and unfortunately the aneurysmhas gotten bigger, one millimetre bigger,\u201d he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sandilands\u2019 manager Bruno reassured fans that he was fine.\u00a0Kyle Sandilands Live<\/p>\n

\u201cWhich seems small, but I didn\u2019t want to get that, that wasn\u2019t the thing I wanted to hear. I was hoping \u2013 and in my mind \u2013 I thought, \u2018I\u2019ve got this, I\u2019m gonna make it smaller,\u2019 but it was bigger.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cNot big enough yet for them to operate, but not a good sign moving forward.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sandilands said he felt like surgery was inevitable now.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThat is terrifying to me,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Despite the aneurysm getting bigger, he said the doctor is still not ready to operate because, right now, it\u2019s more dangerous to try and remove it than to leave it there.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cA life of bad choices has probably led me here,\u201d he reflected.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m full of regret. I do not want to die and I do not want to be carved up.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sandilands revealed one week ago that his brain aneurysm had grown by 1 mm.\u00a0Nine<\/p>\n

Sandilands first shared the news of his brain aneurysm diagnosis<\/a> on the former Kyle and Jackie O Show on KIIS in February 2025.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn Friday, I was told by my medical team, which sounds like I\u2019m already very sick, to have a medical team, that I have a brain aneurysm and it requires immediate attention, brain surgery,\u201d he announced on air at the time.<\/p>\n
