\n\tDrake debuted \u201cFear of Missing Out\u201d on Tuesday night<\/a>, unveiling an hourlong string of music videos, new songs and scenes featuring a spate of guests including Sexyy Red, Winnie Harlow, Lena the Plug, Don Toliver and his mother, Sandi Graham.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe livestream, which Drake<\/a> had previously described as a \u201cnot so short film,\u201d indeed lived up to his promise as he rolled out clips set to songs from his recent albums \u201cMaid of Honour\u201d and \u201cHabibti.\u201d \u201cFOMO\u201d was directed by Theo Skudra, Liam Macrae, Jake Schreier, Zong Li and Glenn Michael, and was presented as a surrealist assortment of visuals that Drake had clearly captured throughout the year in his native Toronto and beyond.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIt began with \u201cCheetah Print\u201d alongside Sexyy Red before Drake hit the beach with Stunna Sandy for \u201cOutside Tweaking,\u201d giving way to an infomercial tutorial on how to make the drink \u201cPanty Dropper.\u201d During the film, Harlow starred in the video for \u201cNew Bestie\u201d while Drake\u2019s mom Sandi showed off her new \u201cIcemom\u201d tattoo in the clip for \u201cTrue Bestie.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAmong the videos for previously released songs were \u201cWNBA,\u201d \u201cRoad Trips\u201d and \u201cHoe Phase,\u201d all songs included on his recent records. But he snuck in a few new tracks, namely his highly suspected remix<\/a> of Ella Langley\u2019s history-making hit \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas.\u201d Drake\u2019s take on the tune was a slowed-down, underwater rendition that corralled Don Toliver and featured the chorus, \u201cDrinkin\u2019 yak all by myself \/ She\u2019s from Texas I can tell.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDrake also unveiled another new song with Toliver as well as one with Yeat. The film came to a conclusion with a full-circle moment as Drake stood in a set piece ripped straight from the video for \u201cHotline Bling,\u201d and ended with a stagehand bringing out a stepladder for Drake to exit the set. After \u201cFOMO\u201d debuted, the YouTube stream was set to private.<\/p>\n

\n\tFans have long speculated if \u201cFear of Missing Out\u201d would be an album, music video or even a tour. But this past weekend, Drake dropped a teaser on Instagram and described it as a \u201cnot so short film directed and scored by the family.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Monday, he elaborated on what exactly the project would be, explaining that it\u2019s \u201cself funded surrealism\u201d and \u201ca story about making the absolute most of it all in one summer.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHere\u2019s some life advice before you watch,\u201d he wrote in an Instagram post. \u201cNobody is coming to save you. You must use each day to decipher who you love and trust and march forward with them
I hope this serves as motivation to make that call, take that trip, drop that song, open that shop, see your parents, leave that relationship or stay in it forever, spend the bread, get some more etc.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThey keep saying our genre is dying,\u201d he continued. \u201cVideos don\u2019t matter. Nobody is watching nobody is listening. I still care. As much as I did on the set of Best I Ever Had. So be kind and rewind.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDrake dropped \u201cFear of Missing Out\u201d on the back of an already stacked year, which included a trio of albums \u2014 \u201cIceman,\u201d \u201cMaid of Honour\u201d and \u201cHabibti\u201d \u2014 that dropped as a surprise in May. The projects had a total of 43 songs and guest appearances from a slew of artists including Future, 21 Savage, Sexyy Red, Central Cee, PartyNextDoor and more.<\/p>\n

\n\tHe had been teasing \u201cIceman\u201d as early as 2024, and started concretely previewing it in July 2025 with the livestream \u201cIceman Episode 1\u201d on YouTube.
