He also believes that he shouldn\u2019t have to win another fight in order to get back to that point.<\/p>\n<p>In a recent interview, Khamzat Chimaev had the following to say about how the fight played out and what the future holds.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Khamzat Chimaev calls his shot<\/p>\n<p>\u201c(Health) updates? I don\u2019t have any updates. I\u2019m just training and want to fight,\u201d Chimaev told MMA Junkie. \u201cIt\u2019s not so many people that wants to fight. We\u2019ll see what happens. I didn\u2019t see Dana (White) and Hunter (Campbell). Maybe when I see, I\u2019ll have something.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt would be good to take the winner (Strickland vs next challenger) because I want to go for the belt,\u201d Chimaev told MMA Junkie. \u201cI\u2019m the No. 1 contender. I didn\u2019t lose the match that people think. Like, I never seen a guy win a fight just running backwards and doing just jab, jab.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe judges, some judges, before they said, \u2018Damage, damage,\u2019 and he didn\u2019t get any damage from that. After, I was in the gym. So, I don\u2019t know what they was watching there, you know? Next time, maybe gonna do marathon.
