Terence Crawford<\/a> has been linked to a comeback in recent weeks, with Dana White adding more fuel to the fire on Saturday. Now, Crawford has responded to White, who claimed that he would return to action \u2018for the right fight\u2019.<\/p>\n

Crawford hung up the gloves last December, but over the last month he has reignited his rivalry with unified super-welterweight world champion Jaron \u2018Boots\u2019 Ennis, and birthed a new one with reigning WBC welterweight titleholder Ryan Garcia.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, Crawford watched on as Garcia made a first successful defence of his WBC 147lb belt and easily dispatched of Conor Benn inside two rounds<\/a>, before \u2018King Ry\u2019 gunned for Crawford in the post-fight press conference.\u00a0<\/p>\n

When quizzed on Crawford\u2019s potential return, White insinuated that he believes he could tempt \u2018Bud\u2019 out of retirement for the \u2018right fight\u2019, in a clip captured by Fight Hub TV<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is always a number. For a guy like Crawford it\u2019s more than just a number, it\u2019s the right fight.\u201d<\/p>\n

In response, Crawford told Seconds Out<\/a> that he does not know who \u2018the right fight\u2019 would be and seemed uninterested in making a comeback, going on to admit that his recent call-out of Ennis<\/a> was not a serious one.<\/p>\n

\u201cI heard [White say that] and I still don\u2019t know what fight he is talking about. So, I\u2019m like \u2018OK\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI just made a valid point [when I called out Boots on social media]. You say you won\u2019t fight Vergil [Ortiz Jr,] or Canelo because you are belt hunting, then you turn around and say you will fight a retired fighter?<\/p>\n

\u201cIt just made it clear as day that you don\u2019t wanna fight Vergil at all.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
