A father has been left to raise his two young children alone after his wife and mother were killed in a devastating crash<\/a> in Melbourne<\/a>\u2019s west.<\/p>\n

Neha Bommali, 33, and her mother-in-law Rama Devi, 67, were travelling in the family\u2019s Toyota Corolla when it collided<\/a> with a Porsche at the intersection of Boardwalk Blvd and Innisfail Dr in Point Cook about 9.40pm on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Bommali, who was driving the Toyota, and Devi died at the scene.<\/p>\n

Bommali\u2019s husband, Varun Gunna, has now spoken of the unimaginable loss suffered by his family.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn one devastating moment, I lost the love of my life and my mother,\u201d Gunna, wrote in a GoFundMe<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy 75-year-old father, Tulsi Prasad, lost his lifelong companion.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cMost heartbreaking of all, my two innocent children lost their mother and grandmother.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bommali leaves behind the couple\u2019s three-and-a-half-year-old son Haarav and one-year-old daughter Vivanvi.<\/p>\n

Gunna described Bommali as \u201cthe light and energy\u201d of their home and said the family had only recently celebrated their daughter\u2019s first birthday.<\/p>\n

\u201cKind-hearted, vibrant, and passionate about dance, she filled our lives with so much joy,\u201d he wrote.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cJust recently, our community gathered to celebrate our daughter Vivanvi\u2019s 1st birthday \u2014 a beautiful day where Neha danced, laughed, and celebrated surrounded by everyone she loved.\u201d<\/p>\n

Devi had recently travelled from India<\/a> to Australia on a tourist visa to spend time with her grandchildren.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy mother traveled across the world out of pure love for us,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was the gentle anchor of our family.\u201d<\/p>\n

He is now facing the prospect of raising his two children as a single father while also supporting his 75-year-old father through the loss of his wife.<\/p>\n

Gunna has now pleaded for support from the community, saying he \u201ccannot carry this heavy financial and logistical burden alone\u201d.<\/p>\n

Money raised through the fundraiser will help repatriate Bommali and Devi to India, where the family hopes to hold Hindu cremation rituals and traditional funeral rites surrounded by loved ones.<\/p>\n

The funds will also go towards travel and funeral expenses, as well as supporting the two young children.<\/p>\n

\u201cI humbly ask for your support to help me give them the honorable farewell they deserve and to help me stand strong for my children,\u201d he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease keep my children, my father, and me in your prayers.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery donation, share, and message of support means more to me than words can express.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Porsche driver, a 53-year-old Point Cook man, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n

Investigations into the crash are continuing, with police urging anyone who witnessed the collision or has CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.<\/p>\n
