Following that second medal, he <a href=\"https:\/\/daryo.uz\/en\/Px27Hcsa\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">claimed<\/a> to have retired from Olympic boxing and dedicated himself to the pro game, but that hasn\u2019t really played out in practice; he\u2019s been fighting for money since 2018 and we\u2019ve yet to see an inflection point in terms of competition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">If he is just treading water until LA 2028, the portents aren\u2019t great for a Teofilo Stevenson-esque third gold.
