Fremantle are back in their first grand final since 2013 and have the chance to win a maiden AFL premiership.<\/p>\n
It was a brave effort from the Swans, who were without three of their best players in Chad Warner, Isaac Heeney, and Nick Blakey due to suspension.<\/p>\n

Swans veteran Dane Rampe, who stepped up to captain the side on Friday night, appeared particularly crushed. Rumours about his future have swirled. <\/p>\n
Swans\u2019 coach Dean Cox was non-committal about Rampe\u2019s future when speaking after the game.<\/p>\n
\u201cI haven\u2019t spoken to Dane about the possibilities next year,\u201d a disappointed Cox said.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s earned the right to get through this year (and) like every player, we\u2019ll have discussions in the coming weeks about what the future looks like, and that won\u2019t be different for Dane.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI haven\u2019t really thought about (it),\u201d he said. <\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s earned the right to say if he wants to play on or if he doesn\u2019t, and then we just have those conversations from there.\u201d<\/p>\n
Brisbane take on Hawthorn in the other preliminary final at the MCG on Saturday. <\/p>\n
