FRANKLIN, Tenn. \u2013 WKU women’s golf is tied for 11th place after the first round of the Mason Rudolph Intercollegiate with a 9-over score at the Vanderbilt Legends Club in Franklin, Tennessee.

\n\tLeah Edwards<\/a> leads the Lady Toppers on the leaderboard once again. She fired a 71 (E) in the first round and is tied for 20th place.
\n\tGrace Frei<\/a> posted a 73 (+2) in the round putting her in a tie for 39th place.
\n\tIsabella Coughlin<\/a> shot a 74 (+3), tying for 49th place.
\n\tLauren Madson<\/a> carded a 75 (+4) for the round, tying for 57th place.
\n\tJulia Zigrossi<\/a> is tied for 74th place with a 78 (+7) in the first round.

\n“I’m proud of the way the team played today,” said head coach Adam Gary<\/a>. “We were off to a slow start on our front nine but battled back on our back nine. The course played tough and scores weren’t overly low so we can move up the leaderboard tomorrow.”
