\n\tBritBox<\/a> have given fans of their hit Jane Austen-inspired series \u201cThe Other Bennet Sister<\/a>\u201d an early Christmas present with a first look at a new three-part special set to drop this holiday season.<\/p>\n

\n\tElla Bruccoleri returns as the awkward Mary Bennet opposite D\u00f3nal Finn as Tom Hayward, who proposed in the Season 1 finale \u2013 with Mary accepting.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBut with marriage comes a new identity and the question remains: who will Mary become as Mrs. Hayward?\u201d reads the logline for the Christmas special.<\/p>\n

\n\tReturning alongside Bruccoleri and Finn are Ruth Jones as Mrs. Bennet, Tanya Reynolds as Caroline Bingley, Laurie Davidson as Mr. Ryder, Varada Sethu as Ann Baxter, Poppy Gilbert as Lizzie Darcy, Maddie Close as Jane Bingley, Grace Hogg-Robinson as Lydia Wickham, Molly Wright as Kitty Buncock and Anna Fenton-Garvey as Charlotte Collins.<\/p>\n

\n\tJoining the cast for the first time is Nerys Amber-Stocks as Mary\u2019s housemaid Lucy.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe Other Bennet Sister\u201d is based on Janice Hadlow\u2019s novel of the same name. Season 1 was adapted by Sarah Quintrell, who has also written the three-part special based on new storylines by Hadlow.<\/p>\n

\n\tEarlier this year, producer Jane Tranter told Variety<\/a> that while \u201cThe Other Bennet Sister\u201d was conceived as a limited series, \u201cthe characters just live on.\u201d She said any further seasons \u201creally depends on Janice and her thinking.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAt the moment we\u2019re concentrating on looking at the novels of Jane Austen, because that\u2019s what we always set out to do,\u201d Tranter added. \u201cBut having set up \u2018The Other Bennet Sister,\u2019 you can\u2019t help but think \u2018What would happen if \u2013 ?\u2019 so we\u2019ll see. We\u2019ll see what Janice says, and Sarah, obviously.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe first season garnered plenty of fans, with Variety\u2018s reviewer Aramide Tinubu describing the show<\/a> as \u201cimmensely charming and thoughtful.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe Other Bennet Sister\u201d is produced by Bad Wolf for the BBC and BritBox North America.
