Ryan Fox will go into the final round of the BMW PGA Championship well in contention, sitting three shots off the lead.<\/p>\n

\n The Kiwi golfer sat in a tie for 11th after three rounds at 10-under-par after carding a two-under 70 in a tricky penultimate round at the Wentworth Club
\n in Surrey, UK.\n <\/p>\n

Playing alongside Northern Irishman Rory McIlroy for the third time in as many rounds of the DP World Tour\u2019s pinnacle tournament, Fox made a clutch birdie on the par-five 18th to set himself up for a big finish to the tournament.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was tough. The wind was so gusty. [I] felt like I hit a lot of decent shots that didn\u2019t end up where I thought they were going to end up,\u201d he said of his round. <\/p>\n

\u201cI made a couple of nice par putts to keep it going on the front nine and then when you feel like you can score on [the] back nine, it just became hard to hit the ball close. I\u2019m glad I snuck one in there on the last, even though I didn\u2019t hit a very good second shot.
