Charles Leclerc has indicated he would be keen to step into driver management once his F1 driving career comes to an end.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
Leclerc recently announced an extension to his deal with Ferrari, which is set to keep him at the Italian squad for the next several years.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
The Monegasque has a long history with Ferrari, joining its junior programme in 2016 before being signed to a full-time F1 drive with the outfit in 2019.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
At 28 years of age, Leclerc likely still has many years left on the F1 grid as a driver, as he targets a world championship with Ferrari.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
But in a recent conversation with the Beyond The Grid podcast, the topic of driver management arose.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
When asked if it is something he will do in the future, Leclerc said: \u201cOne day, 100 per cent.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
\u201cI spoke about it with my manager, Nicolas [Todt], who does this himself, whether it would be interesting to do that together once I’m done.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
\u201cI don’t see it right now. At the moment, I’m 200 per cent focused on racing, on my driving and trying to make Ferrari win.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen I turn the page, I most likely will stay around to do just that.\u201d\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n

\t\t\t\t\tLeclerc has little interest in driver management<\/p>\n
However, while he remains a driver on the grid, Leclerc insisted he has no interest in getting involved in the political landscape of the sport.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
\u201cIt doesn’t really interest me,\u201d he said. \u201cI try to be just myself and as genuine as I can be.\u00a0\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
\u201cIf that hurts me in any kind of relationship, I won’t force things. This is the way I’ve always been, I’ve always hated to be the guy that needs to be nice for whatever reason.\u00a0\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is not me, and I will never change.
