Iowa State leads by six strokes over TCU and host Oklahoma, with help from four Cyclones carding\u00a0a 67 or lower in today’s second round. Virginia Tech’s Xin Yao Wang and Oklahoma’s Satonkan\u00a0Thiengsri\u00a0(Ind.) lead the individual race at -7.<\/p>\n
Alexandra Vidal<\/a> sits\u00a0one stroke back of the lead and is in a five-way tie for third at six-under par. Vidal shot a 66 in the second round, the third-lowest round of her career\u00a0and tying the lowest round in the field on the day. Vidal has carded 13 birdies so far in the tournament and has a 4.50 Par 5 scoring average, both\u00a0leading the entire field. After carding a career-best round yesterday, Isabella Yan<\/a> sets a new low with a 67 today to sit five-under par and in a tie for eighth. Yan is third in Par 4 scoring (-4) and has totaled seven birdies.<\/p>\n Emma Zheng<\/a> carded\u00a0yet another round in the 60’s, this time shooting a career-low 67 to tie for eighth (-5) heading into the final round. Zheng leads the field in Par 4 scoring at five-under par and is second in birdies with 11. Nichakorn Pinprayoon<\/a> shot\u00a0three-under par in the second round to jump into the Top-15, her 17th sub-70 round of her career. Pinprayoon has tallied eight birdies in her last two rounds.<\/p>\n Krittiya Thanintorndamrongdej<\/a> is tied for 55th at four-over par after shooting a 73 in the second round. Thanintorndamrongdej\u00a0has carded five birdies so far in the tournament.
