He recently took<br \/>\nto social media to reveal his desire, eyeing a boxing fight under<br \/>\nthe Zuffa banner.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI love MMA but I want to box,\u201d Strickland wrote on X. \u201cPrefer<br \/>\nZuffa but if they can&#8217;t make that happen\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Strickland is known for his boxing-heavy approach inside the<br \/>\nOctagon. He reclaimed the 185-pound championship in May by<br \/>\ndefeating <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sherdog.com\/fighter\/Khamzat-Chimaev-280021\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Khamzat<br \/>\nChimaev<\/a> and is rumored to be defending his title in a rematch<br \/>\nagainst <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sherdog.com\/fighter\/Nassourdine-Imavov-217405\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nassourdine<br \/>\nImavov<\/a> next.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I love MMA but I want to box..
