The New York Mets<\/a> and Andy Green have agreed to terms on a three-year contract<\/a>, ultimately dropping his interim title.<\/p>\n As expected, social media exploded with comments and questions from fans.<\/p>\n MLB World Reacts to Andy Green Title Change<\/p>\n \n Following the Mets\u2019 announcement on Tuesday, fans took to social media to weigh in on the decision.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s what people are saying on X:<\/p>\n @SleeperMets<\/a>: \u201cAndy Green as manager in 2026: 37-38. If Green served as the Mets manager from the start given their roster status, they mathematically would\u2019ve finished 79-83.\u201d<\/p>\n @BrandonTierney<\/a>: \u201cStearns needs to get his act together, clearly\u2026 but Andy Green fits: great communicator, holds players accountable.
