Here are the details.<\/p>\n<p>Tap to Pay on iPhone expands to eight new countries<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apple.com\/la\/newsroom\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">update<\/a> published to its Latin America and the Caribbean Newsroom, Apple announced today an expansion of Tap to Pay on iPhone across Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, and Peru.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.apple.com\/business\/tap-to-pay-on-iphone\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tap to Pay on iPhone<\/a> allows merchants to accept in-person contactless payments using only a compatible iPhone and supported payment app, without the need for additional card readers or payment terminals.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here\u2019s the list of countries and payment platforms gaining support today:<\/p>\n<p>Argentina: Mercado Pago<\/p>\n<p>Colombia: SumUp, Symbiotic<\/p>\n<p>Costa Rica: Geopagos, Symbiotic, Visa Acceptance Solutions<\/p>\n<p>Dominican Republic: Azul, Visa Acceptance Solutions<\/p>\n<p>Guatemala: Geopagos, Symbiotic<\/p>\n<p>Honduras: Geopagos, Symbiotic<\/p>\n<p>Panama: Geopagos, Symbiotic<\/p>\n<p>Peru: SumUp<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apple also noted that Tap to Pay on iPhone \u201cis compatible with contactless debit and credit cards from major payment networks, including American Express, Mastercard, and Visa.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apple <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apple.com\/newsroom\/2022\/02\/apple-unveils-contactless-payments-via-tap-to-pay-on-iphone\/?utm_source=chatgpt.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">originally announced<\/a> Tap to Pay on iPhone on February 8, 2022.
