\n“Pitbull” Freire<\/a> believes reconnecting with a longtime boxing
\ncoach, Edelson Silva, played a major role in getting his career
\nback on track.<\/p>\n

Freire recently returned to winning ways in the
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a>, finishing Doo Ho Choi<\/a>
\nby first-round technical knockout at UFC
\n331<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\nAfter his victory over Choi, Freire spoke about his reunion with
\nSilva, which he credited as the primary factor in reviving his
\ncareer. Talking to UFC Brazil\u2019s Evelyn Rodrigues as he left the
\nOctagon, the former Bellator<\/a>
\nchamp said the reunion allowed him to fight more freely.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wasn\u2019t letting myself go in the previous fights, but thank God I
\nwas able to find myself again in this one,\u201d Freire said after the
\nvictory. \u201cEdelson worked with me from 2010 to 2015. Unfortunately,
\nwe drifted apart for 11 years, when he worked on 10 of Anderson
\nSilva<\/a>\u2019s camps. But we were able to work things out and make
\npeace.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nthat Freire worked with his coach from 2010 to 2015, not 2000 to
\n2015, as first reported. Also, information stating that UFC 331 was
